A one-time collaboration doesn’t seem to be Snoop Dogg’s style. In fact, the rapper is lending his Doggystyle yet again to one of the world’s most famous sneaker brands to date. Following up his great relationship with adidas, Snoop Dogg and the sneaker geniuses behind the brand partnered again to create an exclusive men’s sneaker inspired by Snoop’s love of Los Angeles and the LA Lakers. The sneaker was created to kick off the All-Star Weekend on February 11, 2011.
Snoop Dogg’s handsome collaboration is titled adidas Originals X Snoop Dogg and features black leather, and as a tribute to Snoop’s undying love to the LA Lakers, check the gold and purple detailing. Snoop Dogg eyes adorn the tongue of the shoe, inspired from his Doggystyle album cover, a throwback from 1993.
Look out for the sneakers at Shiekh Shoes stores, as they will be available on February 11. The adidas Originals X Snoop Dogg sneakers won’t burn a hole in your pocket since they will retail for $90.
