R&B crooner, Ne-Yo, who just became a dad not so long ago, spread the holiday cheer with his friends: Vanessa and Angela Simmons. Ne-Yo has partnered with The Boys & Girls’ Club of America and Toys for Tots to ensure thousands of foster children experience a special kind of Christmas. He tapped the Simmons Sisters to join him in the Giving Back tour to several cities, which included Las Vegas, New York, and most recently Atlanta. The tour kicked off in Los Angeles last weekend on December 17th. Both Ne-Yo and the Simmons Sisters were excited about giving sharing the joy. Ne-Yo stated:
“Our goal is to bring smiles to the faces of over 2000 children, ages ranging from 3 to 17 years old.”
The Simmons sisters are on board with Ne-Yo’s idea and added:
“We love what Ne-Yo is doing and it is consistent with our own giving values.”
The Compound Foundation’s Annual Giving Tour is the foundation’s biggest charity event of the year. In the private event, the Simmons sisters donated shoes and clothing for underprivileged children from their line Pastry Shoes, also some shoes from Run Athletics.
