As one of rapper T.I.’s successful ventures, AKOO Clothing line -or “A King Of Oneself” if you will- has proven itself to be grabbing the urban fashion audience tighter with each collection it delivers.  This fall, AKOO goes back to classics -in a stylish way, just right for you, preppies and jocks alike.

AKOO was founded by rapper T.I. back in 2008, and since its launch, the brand has been getting rave reviews from both T.I. fans and urban clothing enthusiasts.  T.I., often seen in AKOO gear, embodies what AKOO is all about as AKOO’s design team leader, Ralph Reynolds once said: “the AKOO man is an individual who regards fashion as a compliment to his strong personality.”

In its Fall 2010 collection, AKOO goes low-key with its new kind of classics, deriving the inspiration from varsity football.  Here are the hottest stuff from the lineup:

  • The AKOO varsity jacket, featuring leather embellishments on its front pockets.
  • Retro logo sweater, AKOO’s new take on the classic piece.  Very cool.
  • Woven shirt with applique details for that showy side of you. Wear it on club nights, as this particular piece is made for parties.
  • Denim pants with embellishments and studs, which has a surprisingly low-key appearance which makes it cool.
  • Warm up with nylon vests, zip-up sweater and the classic AKOO cardigan.

Here are some of our favorite pieces from AKOO’s latest collection available at DrJays.com.
