D&G has revisited the fifties “let’s take a day out with friends and family” weekend plan and made it the SS11 happening.
To be out & about requires a wardrobe and for this no need to search far, the total look is so D&G and you will have to be D&G. The fashion story is simple, it should be more than a flashback and why not last longer than summer. Get ready to share, laugh and enjoy; great memories are still to be lived which not only should help us to go through the cold season but also reminds us that old fashioned can be quite in fashion. 
Ready to lie in the sun or cool down under a tree? Before you choose the location, take notes for your look. Better to know how to dress first and where to be seen after… Matchy-match your environment, play a back-to-back with your best friend both in vichy print light shirts. Want to stand out from the classic surroundings, and make a playful statement? Hawaiian prints should do the trick and should give you the edgy touch you need to be fifties but not boring. It is ok to be a bit nostalgic and to fancy some details that recall past fashion fantasies but it is a 2011 version here, right?
