With all these hybrid running around every one is quick to call any thing that looks like a mixture of two shoes a frankenstein creation. Here is a prime example. What people were calling a sample of a Cortez x Air Max 1 mash up is actually called the Air Match Distressed or vintage. The upper looks very close to a Cortez and the nylon suede and colorways make it very close to an OG pair. But with some closer examination there are some subtle differences. The main sign is found on the toe of the shoe where the suede remans the same width where as the Cortez dove tails out.
