Today after much anticipation Victoria’s Secret opens the door of their very first Toronto store at Yorkdale Mall (it’s not Canada’s first, lucky Albertians got that honour early this month at West Edmonton Mall). It’s a huge, modern and sparkling store (literally, the floor tiles glitter!) and yesterday it was crawling with gorgeous Angels. At the official ribbon cutting ceremony, I chatted with supermodels Adriana Lima and Chanel Iman, and I’m telling you my girl crush quota has skyrocketed! So the big question everyone wants to know: Are they just as gorgeous in person? Oh, you better believe it! Honestly words can’t even describe how STUNNING they are, and with curves in all the right places. It’s not surprising they get paid to look sizzling in next-to-nothing.
There is one word that comes to mind when describing Adriana Lima: Hot! She is the very essence of a sexy Brazilian bombshell, but also very sweet and completely comfortable in her own skin. As we walked around the store’s beauty section, I asked her the all-important question of how she enhances her infamous curves. Her must-have: the Miraculous Push-Up Bra which has the magical ability of enhancing your cleavage a full two cup sizes. Her colour pick? Surprisingly, basic black. Who knew the sex-pot is a classic bra gal at heart? We also chatted about her appearance on Breakfast TV earlier in the day and she gushed about host Dina Pugliese; she said she couldn’t believe how cheerful she was so early in the morning. And I have to agree!
Next up: Chanel Iman. She is one of my favorite high-fashion models and she didn’t disappoint. She has the face of an angel, so it’s little wonder she is constantly featured in Vogue. For her, a bra needs to be comfy, particularly when traveling–a models occupational hazard. Now, her to-go is the Incredible bra. It has self-adjusting straps and she said “it fits like a second skin and is so comfortable.” Her colour choice? Anything bright or neon. She loves to have a “pop of colour underneath her clothes”.
