Breaking: Actress, Amanda Seyfried is the latest Hollywood starlet to ink a high end beauty deal. It was announced this week that Seyfried will be the 2011 face of luxe skincare brand, Clé de Peau with the first ads rolling out in the March issues of major U.S glossys.
Seyfried, who just wrapped filming Red Riding Hood (due out next March) and is currently filming Now alongside Justin Timberlake, told WWD she was particularly drawn to Shiseido-owned Clé de Peau’s roots in strong skin care. As for the prospect of a celebrity rite of passage fragrance, Seyfried denies there would be any likelyhood to adding a scent to her Clé de Peau resumé, seeing as the brand itself isn’t known for scents and Seyfried “likes to be involved in things that make women feel empowered”…but only has so much time. A celebrity beauty endorsement that won’t involve perfume? Amen to that.
