Today’s Designer Question & Answer is with Founder and Designer Mike Lane of Mike Lane Premium Denim.

What are you focusing on for the Fall 2011 season? And for the Spring 2012 season? Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 are all about the lighter denims. I’m doing a lot with acid washes, color washes and white denim which is ULTRAHOT! Summer is all about skirts and shorts. For the Fall 2012 season, I’ll be sticking with lighter denim, but I’ll be incorporating light grays, rips and vintage washes. What has been your inspiration for your current collection?

To be totally honest with you there is nothing new to see her. We are just pretty stoked by the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 3 Black / Cement and cant help to post any extensive photo set that we can find. But then again who doesnt want to look at these things up close and personal at every chance they get? That Black tumbled leather against that Cement elephant print is too hard to pass up and has to be seen at every opportunity we get.

Here is the latest Nike Air Force 1 created at the 21 Mercer Bespoke studio to be highlighted on their site. The kicks are the product of Luis Perez who has given the sneaker a glossy look dominated by shades of red and gold.
